The management

Melita Rajgelj Ozebek graduated with excellence from the Faculty of Law of the University Ljubljana and passed the national bar examination. After completing her traineeship at the Ljubljana Higher Court, she worked for a year at the Ministry of Finance as an advisor. She continued her career in the KD Group, first as a lawyer and then as the Head of the Legal Service and Director of the Legal Sector. In 2018, she acquired the ICA Advanced Certificate in Business Compliance. From 2021, she held the office of the Director of the Legal Sector and Compliance, and the Regional I&AM Head of Compliance of Generali CEE. In January 2023, she began a four-year term as President of the Management Board of Generali Investments.

Sašo Šmigić graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. He worked as an asset manager at the KD BPD stockbroking company from 2006 and at Generali Investments (previously KD Funds) from March 2008. In 2013, he was appointed Senior Portfolio Manager – Head of Research at Generali Investments. He is charged with managing Generali Raw Materials and Energy, a sector fund, and the funds focusing on emerging markets, Generali New Markets, Generali India – China and Generali Latin America. In September 2023, he began a four-year term as Member of the Board of Generali Investments.
